Recognizing the need for updates at two ice-rink facilities, the City of Toronto contracted DSR for assistance. Following an evaluation of both systems, our team developed designs for complete refrigeration mechanical equipment updates to ensure the smooth operation of the two rinks for years to come. The designs considered the anticipated demands on the systems and the latest in refrigeration technologies to improve efficiency and reduce the refrigerant charges in the interest of public safety. Following the completion of the designs, DSR served as the Prime Consultant and assisted the City from the tender of the project to contractors through to final commissioning providing advice, inspections, and contract administration services as required. DSR ensure the project remained on-track and was installed to the highest standards of quality in the interest of the client.
