Facing the need to update aging equipment at the Bayshore Arena, home of the Owen Sound Attack, the City of Owen Sound recognized the need to be represented by an experienced Consultant and so hired DSR for project management and contract administration services. In this capacity DSR was able to focus the project scope to the essentials and bring to light updates that were required to maintain public safety and compliance with current regulations. DSR provided assistance in evaluating contractor bids to help the City select the proponent offering the most value. Following contract award, our team reviewed the equipment and materials proposed by the contractor for quality & suitability in the best interests of the City. During construction, DSR performed site inspections and led regular progress meetings to confirm best practices were being followed and that the contractor remained on schedule. During commissioning, we worked with the contractor to verify system performance and ensured that the final product met the City’s requirements.
